About Innovation Chain North

Innovation Chain North (ICN) is a framework for construction and associated professional services procured under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.

It has been designed to support the delivery of new homes and associated social infrastructure across the North of England.

The framework includes lots for contractors, apartment specialist contractors, principal contractors for the delivery of modular homes and associated professional services.

Our social value targets

Innovation Chain North (ICN) aims to place a greater emphasis on social value, so that every call off from the framework will positively impact the wider economy.

The framework tender evaluation process applied a 10% weighting for social value.

Where do we operate?

Innovation Chain North (ICN) geographically covers the North of England, from Cumbria and Northumberland in the north to Lincolnshire, Cheshire and Staffordshire in the south.

The contractor lots are split by value and geography; the consultant lots are split geographically.
