South Ribble Borough Council

South Ribble Borough Council’s Housing Regeneration team is responsible for managing and developing affordable housing options in the South Ribble area. The Council owns and manages around 5,000 properties, including social rented housing and affordable housing.

The Council’s housing policy aims to provide affordable, good-quality housing to residents of South Ribble. The Council works closely with its tenants to ensure their housing needs are met and to ensure those who are in the greatest need of a home can get one.

The Housing Regeneration team is committed to investing in its properties, including carrying out regular maintenance and repairs and developing new homes. And, they provide access to employment, training, and education opportunities to those who truly need them.

The Council’s housing policy also includes initiatives to improve the energy efficiency of its properties and reduce fuel poverty. They provide advice and support to tenants on issues such as welfare benefits, debt management, and housing repairs, and work closely with local partners to address issues of anti-social behaviour and community safety.
