The scheme consists of a three storey Extra Care Block with 54 x 1 bed apartments and 2 x 2 bed apartments including residents communal lounge diner and kitchen area. Residents’ laundry and scooter with 24/7 on site support staff.
The site was a former sheltered block which was demolished as it was no longer fit for purpose.
The extra care will be heated using ground source heat pump technology with solar PV to offset electric usage.
