Great Places embarked to deliver this project for a number of reasons, most notably to regenerate a sustainable site which housed two vacant dwellings, a number of derelict outbuildings and unmanaged woodland to provide a new development in a sustainable community.

Other key objectives included:

  • Deliver a mix of unit types on site (2 bed bungalows and 3 bed houses), meeting multiple areas of housing need in the local area.
  • Deliver an aesthetically pleasing scheme with elevations that fit with the local area.
  • Provide quality homes – standard of the design and construction, ensuring minimal defects at handover.
