Peaks & Plains Housing Trust owns and manages around 5000 homes across East Cheshire and the High Peak, from Northwich and Knutsford to Disley and Buxton.
We are a profit-for-purpose organisation, based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, and we employ around 180 staff.
The Trust exists to help improve lives by playing a part in addressing local housing need and its key priorities are to be a great landlord, to create great places to live and to be a resilient business.
Our development plans prioritise travel-to-work corridors in Cheshire and High Peak to ensure we continue to address housing need and support sustainable communities.

We’re keen to work with partners who share our design aspirations and who understand the requirements of our statutory authorities so that our customers can enjoy safe and thoughtfully designed homes.
We build homes that are fit for the future and can be adapted to meet the needs of our customers.
We will also aim to meet the Government National Design Guidance and space standards were it is feasible to do so.
The Trust is exploring various types of Modern Methods of Construction and is committed to the decarbonisation agenda of achieving zero carbon homes by 2050 .
