Rowlinson hired locally and trained apprentices
Rowlinson engaged with the local workforce by employing a team of skilled individuals, including five bricklayers, and a gateman, groundworker, fork lift driver, and labourer. Rowlinson also provided opportunities for skill development through the hiring and training of three apprentices.
Provided work experience at a local school
Rowlinson partnered with Wright Robinson, a local high school in Urmston, where a student was welcomed for an week of work experience in June 2023.
Donated to a local nursery
Rowlinson organised a significant donation to a local nursery in March 2023. The nursey was able to use the money to regenerate the library’s collection of books. There was a special presentation day help on March 10th to celebrate the donation.
Helped to maintain the local environment
Rowlinson contributed to the well-being of the community by providing skips to the local allotment ground, facilitating the removal of debris and fly-tipping. They also provided a lock and chain to ensure the safety and security of this space
Facilitated a food collection
In December 2022, Rowlinson orchestrated a food collection in collaboration with the local Foodbank. Onward, in conjunction with Rowlinson, generously offered transport and labour support.
